The border between Summer and Fall

There was a shift this weekend, specifically on the Monday of the long weekend. Before this, it was warm. The numbers for temperature seemed accurate. Mid-20s daytime, mid-teens at night. It felt like “Indian Summer” (if we’re allowed to use that term anymore.) After Monday, it got cold. To start, the temperatures are similar – low 20s and high teens daytime, and single digits at night. Not a big change really, but now it comes with a cold wind. Not the Chinooks we all love, but a cold winter-smelling wind. Don’t get me wrong, it was refreshing. (Ask me again in January tho).

The smell of winter

Yellow leaves still on the trees

Where’s my winter coat?
