Snow

If there is a metaphor in snow, especially snow in mid-April, it’s one of endurance. By now it should be spring. It should be above zero, maybe even 5 or 10 and a light jacket. But no, in the past week, I have experienced -25 windchill. Right now, a snowfall warning with 5-10 centimetres forecast. The cover photo for this entry gives you an idea…

What am I to take from this, given my life right now? Perhaps it’s a message to endure some more. Spring is coming. The things weighing on my mind will also pass, and I can take off my jacket and enjoy the warmth.
